Alison is on the HBO show Newsroom and according to her…tweeting the topless photo was an ‘accident’ because she doesn’t know how to work her smart phone.

The 26-year-old actress was seen lying back on her bed, arm behind her head smiling at the camera. All she wore was a pair of black spectacles. Alison quickly admitted to posting the snap, tweeting: ‘Yep. That picture happened. ’Ugh. My tech issues have now reached new heights, apparently.”

‘How a deletion turned into a tweet… Apologies.’

But it seems her fans felt she had nothing to apologise for, with one tweeting: ‘Honestly, we didn’t mind.’

Luckily for Alison her fiance, for whom the photo was perhaps intended, was amused rather than horrified by her mistake. Actor Jay Baruchel tweeted: “My fiancée is an hilarious dork. Smartphones will get ya.’

Alison Pill, the star of television series Newsroom, accidentally posted a topless photograph of herself on Twitter. The 26 year old was in a photograph wearing only a pair of thick-rimmed, oversized glasses. She was quick to delete the photograph but not before her 20,000+ followers and the Internet took it across the world.

"Yep. That picture happened," Pill later tweeted, adding, "Ugh. My tech issues have now reached new heights, apparently. How a deletion turned into a tweet... Apologies."

The actress' fiancé, actor Jay Baruchel, laughed off the situation and took potshots at Pill's tech skills.

"My fiancee is an hilarious dork. #imjustgladitdidnthappentomefirst," he tweeted, adding, "Smartphones will get ya. CC @msalisonpill #vivaludditism."

Ronda Rousey seems to have an infatuation with submissions ... arm bars, to be exact.The former Olympic Judo medalist began her amateur mixed martial arts (MMA) career with three straight wins via arm bar, all in less than one minute. She then continued her professional MMA career with four consecutive victories, again in less than one minute, again via arm bar.

Stepping into the Strikeforce Hexagon this past weekend (Mar. 3, 2012) at the Strikeforce: "Tate vs. Rousey" event, she undoubtedly faced her toughest opponent to date in Miesha Tate. However, it was apparently business as usual as she defeated "Takedown" to capture the Strikeforce women's 135-pound title. This time, it took longer than one minute, but it ended the same way her other fights did, which is via first round arm bar.

Tate was able to hang on from an attempted submission from the former Olympian early on, however, the second attempt was latched on tight, and this time, "Rowdy" did not let up until "Takedown" eventually tapped.

Taking a page from Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight champion Frank Mir, the newly crowned Strikeforce Bantamweight champion says she will hold on to a submission until she feels a tap, even if she hears a snap.

Sofia Vergara’s boyfriend, Nick Loeb —who recently was accused of getting wild and crazy with a few call girls and living a Charlie-Sheen like adventure while dating the stunning sofia Vergara—is adamantly denying the allegations made by the tabloid, The National Enquirer.Loeb, who was mulling a U.S. Senate bid for almost a year, says the rumors are simply not true.

“My first priority is to protect the people I love, and I hope they are not impacted by these lies and irresponsible reports,” Loeb told the New York Post. 

“I am mortified that false illicit behavior has been attributed to me,” he added. “It’s hurtful and unfair.”The gossip comes just days after Vergara and Loeb reconciled—after a brief breakup due to repeated arguments.

The New York Post says Loeb, who is the grandson one of the Lehman Brothers, is mulling taking legal action against the tabloid for spreading false rumors.
Sofia Vergara recently broke up with her aspiring politician boyfriend Lurch Nick Loeb, probably because she wasn’t down with the cocaine-fueled orgies he was having with prostitutes while they were dating. You know how jealous Latina women can be. According to the NY Post:

    Two prostitutes told the National Enquirer they had slept with Loeb, with one saying: “He’ll party with anywhere from two to five girls, usually in luxury hotel penthouses, with porn playing on all the TVs, lines of cocaine laid out and liquor flowing like water.”

    But furious Loeb — who still harbors political aspirations after flirting with a US Senate run last year — told us in a statement: “I am mortified that false illicit behavior has been attributed to me. The former Baywatch star won particular praise from judge Bruno Tonioli for her red-hot cha-cha with Damian Whitewood.Anderson, however, appears to have some strong opposition for this year’s show, with Pussycat Doll frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger looking to be an early favourite.

Scherzinger, who was watched in the audience by her motor racing boyfriend Lewis Hamilton, earned the highest score during Monday's premiere, scoring 25 points out of 30, for a Viennese waltz that Tonioli called "a performance of sparkling finesse.".Scherzinger and Anderson are among 11 celebrity contestants vying for the mirrorball trophy on the 10th season of the popular dance show.

Astronaut Buzz Aldrin had the dubious honour of scoring the night's lowest score, collecting 14 points out of 30 for his cha-cha, with Tonioli summing up his routine by saying: "It looked like you still had your moon boots on."Also competing this season are Olympic figure skater Evan Lysacek, actors Shannen Doherty, Aiden Turner and Niecy Nash, sportscaster Erin Andrews, football star Chad Ochocinco and reality stars Jake Pavelka and Kate Gosselin.

While the world just learned Monday that Pamela Anderson had joined the "Dancing With the Stars" cast for season 10, her pal and fashion designer Richie Rich was in on the decision days before it was announced."I was just with her this weekend," the Heatherette mastermind told MTV News when he stopped by the newsroom to talk Oscars fashion. "She's one of my best friends. She's starting rehearsals this week. She's totally stoked and excited. She probably has the best legs I've ever seen on anybody that walks. Being that Richie is known for his over-the-top style, he would make for the perfect guy to design a few looks for Anderson to swirl in. "I'll definitely do something for her," he said. "I'll design something fun and outrageous and Vegas-style. ... She's so easy to dress. Boom! Put it on."I definitely think it's the Ice Capades meets Christmas. Gotta be over-the-top shiny, sparkly, colorful and fun ... and wearable," he continued. "Pamela doesn't like wearing clothes, so it'll definitely be skin, skin, skin."

Hey look, it’s Olivia Munn, in MAXIM, half naked. What a shock.

Don’t get me wrong, Olivia Munn is hot. Scorchingly so and if she decides to go full nude sometime in the next year it will be a glorious day for fanboys across the world. Think the universal celebration at the end of RETURN OF THE JEDI only with less Ewoks and more Kleenex.

Thing is, Munn’s clock is ticking and I’m not talking about her maternal one. I’m talking about her pop culture clock. I’m not sure if you know this or not, but Munn recently left her main gig over at ATTACK OF THE SHOW. That was a daily gig that basically kept her front of the fanboys every single day for the last few years and it worked. Made her semi-famous and made her uber-popular.

I say “semi-famous” because Munn really isn’t known to folk outside of the geek/nerd community. Her few acting gigs since popping up on SHOW have been so-so (one scene cameos in IRON MAN 2, DATE NIGHT and THE SLAMMIN’ SALMON do not a film career make) and her side gig over at THE DAILY SHOW WITH JON STEWART hasn’t been very well received. In other words, with SHOW out of the picture, the pop culture clock (AKA “Your fifteen minutes of fame”) has kicked in. HARD.

And don’t throw her upcoming NBC sitcom PERFECT COUPLES at me as a sign that her career is just getting started. COUPLES looks like a reject FRIENDS clone that somehow managed to escape the 90s. And this MAXIM spread? Hot as it is, this is nothing more than a desperate attempt to wring up interest in a generic show starring a gal who probably just committed career suicide by ditching the only thing she was good at for something that will probably last half a season at best.

While any news about Olivia Munn is to make any fanboy like me extremely happy, today we get a double dose of Olivia Munn heavy on the Munn. We are treated to see Olivia in the upcoming Playboy (sadly, non nude but hey I’ll take it.) In addition, it was announced Olivia will be in the next Iron Man film. This is a double plus in my book and honestly, I don’t expect her to outshine Robert Downey Jr. but having been a fan of Olivia when she does her parodies of super heroines, she is top on that list. She has great comic timing but I’m not sure how she will fare in this serious comic book film adaptation. We shall see. Stephanie Rice, who will defend her 200m and 400m Olympic titles this summer, posted the flattering shot after receiving the suit as a birthday gift from the designer Ellie Gonsalves.As well as admiration of the picture, there were questions as to whether the 24-year-old, who used to endorse Speedo, was officially backing Gonsalves’ work.
